Former Baltimore Ravens Cheerleader Kelly Roth to Appear in Arete Films' "Pizza Palace"

June 25, 2004 -- Kelly Roth of Manchester, Maryland will appear in an upcoming independent feature film named "Pizza Palace".     Kelly has just completed filming the teaser for "Pizza Palace" and will also have a scene during principal photography being shot in July 2004. The 23 year old Maryland native is a 2003 graduate of McDaniel College, graduating Cum Laude with a BA in Communications/Theater. Her interest in performing came at a young age, but it was not until college that she really started to focus on it. After joining the Pom Dance Team her freshman year at McDaniel College, she decided to audition to be a Professional NFL Cheerleader. Her dream came true and from 2000-2001, she cheered for the Baltimore Ravens. The following year she raised enough money to travel through Europe and study in Budapest, Hungary. Those experiences gave her the confidence and drive that she has today. Since graduation, she has been acting in commercials, films, and educational videos, as well as modeling for calendars and hair magazines.

Arete Films, LLC of Baltimore, Maryland is producing "Pizza Palace". Rod Lopez of Timonium, Maryland will direct "Pizza Palace", and has invited the media to meet the cast during principal photography starting on July 24, 2004, primarily at the Samos restaurant in Baltimore.

Executive producers of "Pizza Palace" are George Kardulias of Herndon, Virginia and Kyriakos Marudas of Baltimore. Mr. Marudas also co-wrote the screenplay.
